4 FUNERALS IN 1 WEEK???

 Rahn mwahu maing ko!

This week was pretty chill. Nothing to crazy happened. We did some service for a few of our friends so that was nice. We also went on exchanges with the zone leaders this week so that was always fun.

However, a few downsides of the week were 4 funerals happening in our area and since funerals are a big thing here and there were 4 basically all if not most of our lessons fell through so that was a bummer.

It's all good though because we were able to find some new people and bring treats to the members so that made up for the lack of appointments we had.

Overall, this week was fun and tiring. I'm super thankful for this gospel and my Savior. I know the joy and peace we can experience if we obey the commandments and live the gospel is immense and our Heavenly Father will richly bless us as we strive to keep our covenants.

I love each and every one of you and I'm so thankful for your love and support as well. I hope y'all have a magnificent week wherever you are!

Thrivin' & Vibin' in Pohnpei

Rahn mwahu maing koaros!!!

This week has been pretty fun. I'm liking being in a trio and not having to worry about district leader stuff is nice. Teaching lessons is a little weird because two of us know Pohnpeian and the other knows no Pohnpeian so we are doing a lot of translating so that's been hard but fun because my language has improved a ton.

We also have been meeting lots of new people and we had a ton of friends at church. I'm also now the membership clerk in Uh so that's gonna be really helpful with record keeping. We also got fed a lot by people this week. There were a ton of parties in our area this week for many different reasons, so we got a lot of food.

Overall, the work here is starting to take off and we are really going hard this transfer with the three of us in Uh.

Moroni 7:16
For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for everything which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.

I hope everyone has a blessed week and stays positive always! I poakpoake emenemen kumwail!

Transfer Trio!

 Oh Kaselehlie Maing koaros

This week as you could have guessed was transfers. My comp and I are staying in the same area but we are gonna be in a trio now. I am also no longer the district leader so that's a bummer but also a bit nice to have a break from extra responsibilities.

As for our week it was pretty good. For service we helped fill some rocks in the foundation of someone's house. We weren't able to make it to church this week because my comp got pretty sick.

Other than those things this week's been pretty normal. I'm excited to be in a trio now. Much love to y'all and have a wonderful week!

Pohnpei is Poppin Off

 Kaselehlie Maing Ko

So, it's been really busy since my last email. Lots of stuff has happened but we are doing well here on Pohnpei. We had a lot of people at church last week and it was awesome to see our friends and less actives that came. We have been meeting and teaching a good amount of people in our area, so it's been really fun but super busy as well.

We also had the AP's come to Pohnpei last minute and they stayed for the week, so I got to go on exchanges with them. It was definitely an amazing exchange, and I learned a lot. We also had area general seventies come to Pohnpei. It was Elder and Sister Esplin and they did a YSA and youth fireside as well as a missionary meeting with our whole zone.

A bunch of other crazy, fun, and spiritual things have happened but overall, the work here on Pohnpei is busy but moving forward so we're doing alright. I have already hit 9 months now and it doesn't even feel that long. Time is flying by, and I feel like I've only just begun. I'm super excited for the rest to come and I can't wait to continue to share all my experiences with y'all.

As always, I poakpoake kumwail and I hope y'all have an epic week!
