Return of the King!

 Oooooh Kaselehlie Maing Ko!

This week was crazy! To start we had transfers and I'm going back to Nett so I'll be in Eirike ward again. I'm sad to leave Uh and the cool people but I'm super pumped to see the people of Nett again. We are currently walking as of right now while we wait for the new cars to arrive.

As for this last week we helped teach seminary and we did gospel jeopardy and made brownies, so it was super fun. We also went to a baptism for one of the sisters' friends and Elder Butikofer helped Baptize them. One day this week we accidentally locked ourselves out of our apartment so we had to sleepover at another apartment so that was a fun way to wrap up the transfer!

Other than that, this week we are having a baptism, and I am going to help baptize so that's cool. The work here in Pohnpei is busy and we are making great progress. I am grateful for the wonderful souls here on this beautiful island. Their faith is inspiring, and I see the blessings from it every day.

As always, I'm grateful for each & every one of you! I hope y'all have a great week! Look for ways to bless others always!

It's that time again...

 Kaselehlie Maing Ko!

It's the Elder Eubanks and we back to catch y'all up on this week's events on the beautiful island of Pohnpei! First off, we had zone conference this week and it was a really fun Zone conference!

We played Preach my gospel jeopardy and our mission president shared some really insightful advice. I'm so grateful for our mission president, he is such an inspired man, and he is very in tune with the spirit as well.

On Saturday we had a branch activity where we helped clean the church and afterwards, we ate some ice-cream and brownies. It was super good for the youth, and it helped get them involved in the branch activities more. On Sunday we had President & Sister Hirschi visit Uh branch. They are the senior missionaries as well as President Okuda's 1st counselor.

Apart from that we met some really cool people and had some great lessons this week. We are working closely to help out the priesthood in our branch because we need more active Melchizedek priesthood holders. It's been really good so far and even though it's a slow process trying to reactivate some of them it's been super rewarding seeing the fruits of our labors.

That's pretty much it for this week. I love y'all and hope everyone has a fantastic week! Also always remember that our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us!

Great weather & Missionaries that are even better!

 Kaselehlie Maing koaros

This week was fun. We had some sunny and clear days this week, so less rain was nice for a change. Our trio is popping off here in Uh. We found some new peeps to teach this week and they are all homies.

At church we had around 35 people so that was cool cause it's more than usual. On Saturday we went to a stake priesthood meeting, and it was really fun and spiritual. It was cool because we were able to get a lot of the young men in the branch to come so that was good.

For pday today we played frisbee and football. It was fun but it was super hot and it was only like 11 am. This week we have zone conference. We are gonna have around 7-10 new missionaries come to the mission next transfer, so it's gonna be potentially more missionaries on Pohnpei soon so that's exciting.

Other than that missionary work has been amazing here on the isles of the sea. As always, I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

The Machetes Finding Method!

Kaselehlie Maing Ko!

Yes, tis' I, Elder Eubanks back again to enlighten you on the many adventures of a Pohnpei missionary. This week has been hot indeed and it keeps getting hotter.

We have had a really successful week of finding. We were able to find 7 new people to teach and one of them we even did service for by helping cut some grass with machetes. We also had another funeral happen this week and it was right next to our house so that got crowded a little bit at times.

Some of our members left for the states this week so that was a bummer to see them go. We also got fed a bunch again per usual. Overall, we've been working hard but having fun as well and our work is paying off because we are starting to see the blessings in our area and in the people.

I poakpoake kumwail! I'll leave y'all with a fire scripture!

Mosiah 3:13
"And the Lord God hath sent his holy prophets among all the children of men, to declare these things to every kindred, nation, and tongue, that thereby whosoever should believe that Christ should come, the same might receive remission of their sins, and rejoice with exceedingly great joy, even as though he had already come among them."

Also, here's some dope pics
