Thankful for Pohnpei!

This week was Thanksgiving so I wanted to start by saying I'm super grateful for the people of Pohnpei and their love. I'm also thankful for the restored gospel and this time I have to share it with others. 

With that out of the way, this week we didn't get out very much again so not a whole lot happened. I was able to go on a few exchanges so that was nice and it felt good to get out and see people.

We had stake conference this weekend and it was super fun. Two of the Asia North area seventy came to stake conference and spoke. I got to see lots of people from previous areas and it was awesome. 

Besides that we have been inside studying, planning, reading scriptures, just trying to find ways to stay productive. This week Elder Esplin of the seventy is coming so that'll be dope I'll keep y'all posted on that.

Just another manic Monday...

 Just kidding this Monday and week was the complete opposite of manic. 

Yea so the majority of this week we've been stuck inside because my companion is having some more problems with his foot and it's really hard for him to walk.

Basically this email's really short cause not much happened this week. Anyway, hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving and don't eat too much pie haha. I'll leave y'all with some pics from this week

Yes we got drenched this week cause it rained for 80% of the week. It was all good though cause we found some dope new people. 

We also went on exchanges this week with the ZL's and during our exchange we ran out of power and water for the whole day. Luckily we were able to get it back not too long after but it was a fun experience for sure. 

On Sunday during sacrament meeting my comp and I plus the bishopric sang a musical number in Pohnpeian so that was cool even though I suck at singing. 

That's pretty much it for this week's email. Not much to say so I'm sorry if it's shorter. I poakpoake kumwail and have a great week!

Yup we still in Nett and we still walkin. We had transfers this week and there's 2 new areas in Pohnpei so there's more missionaries coming to Pohnpei so that's dope. As for us, we staying the same so we chillin. 

Nothing too crazy happened this week. We have been steadily grinding and we started meeting with this one family, they are super cool. The first couple of lessons on the Book of Mormon have gone really well. I'm excited to help them understand the importance of the Book of Mormon and how it can bless their family.

This week we have really just been trying to engage with the people more and we talk to everyone we see when we walk. It's been super rewarding and fun to meet such awesome people. I've also been doing alot more assistant clerk stuff this week because my calling now is an assistant ward membership clerk so that's cool to help out with that. 

 I also hit a year on the mission tomorrow so that's crazy to think about. That's about it basically. Keep on loving Jesus and trying to be like him each day! I poakpoake kumwail!

*Fun story*

We saw this flatbed truck with a railing or rig set up in the back and they tied a hammock to it so there was a dude just chillin in the hammock on his phone while it was driving. A little unsafe but still cool, nonetheless. I didn't get a pic cause it drove by too quick, but I really wanted to get a pic sorry y'all.
